To day we started working on the actual alarm system itself. I have to say searching for the small materials needed required more time then putting together the actual project itself, but in the end it was a good experience. We are working smoothly and effiencently and expect a finish product next time

so far our class periods will be cut off twice for our class. Though our door alarm looks fairly simple to work on. We will start to work on that next class period once we have all our requirements on the packet settled. I worked on modifying the brochure, working on the details and design for it.

With only one day left to work on this before the 4 day weekend, it is sure to need that following assignments for the project should be worked on at home. Also, i would like to experiment with the door alarm system myself during my break to see what problems i would occur to and avoid them in class.

I deleted my last post by accident since i was editing my posts and got mixed up with the blogs. Though i can do a recap of what was done in class. We started the matrix for the Smart House. We have seen that most of our ideas are the same. We also get the basics of what the alarm should consist of. we will incorporate the possible solutions for that one idea we have chose.

This day we had to start on our sketches for the door alarm system. It is very difficult to search for "do it yourself door alarm" when the majority of the pop ups are self installations for a store bought door alarm. however with the accurate word choice to type into google, i had a couple of good searches that came up. Unfortunately one of the sites i researched before with useful information was block. Research will be done at home though
